How to Find Work from Home Job Opportunities

Seeking legitimate work from home job opportunities can be very frustrating especially if one does not know where to look. With all the scams flooding the internet, I totally understand why anyone would be skeptical about working from home. Here are 7 great tips to help find legitimate jobs online for free:

1. Avoid “so called” jobs that require you to spend $$- This first tip is a no brainer. Seriously, who in their right mind would pay for work? You wouldn’t pay to work at McDonald’s would you? So with that in mind, I’ll move on to tip #2. (Side note: Liveops.com is one reputable company that requires their employees to pay for a background check but I would definitely do research on any other company before sending a dime.)

2. Do a Google Search- If you find a company that claims to offer legitimate work from home jobs, then Google search that company’s name and read reviews about that particular site. Reading reviews will help you determine a company’s reputation.

3. Listen to reviews on YouTube- You Tube videos are a great source for seeking online jobs because you get to hear positive and negative reviews about different companies. Once you’re on You tube, simply type in “legitimate internet jobs” , “ work from home jobs “, or type in the company name and see what type of info you come up with.

4. Check out WAHM (Work at home mom) forums- WAHM forums allow individuals to ask questions about reputable online companies and also read other people’s feedback about legitimate companies. www.wahm.com and www.christianmomsforum.com are two phenomenal websites to research legitimate online jobs.

5. Begin Job Hunting on Craigslist- Craigslist.org is a great resource all across the board. Aside from finding great deals on things that you may be looking for, Craigslist can also be a great place to find telecommute opportunities locally. Your first step would be to create a free account (If you don’t have one) and then select your city and state. Once you are on the homepage of your city and state, click on the “Jobs” title. After you get on the “Jobs” page, you will then click on the “telecommute” box and see what options you get. If you find a job posting that you may be interested, just respond back to the ad with whatever information is provided.

6. Search for “Writing Jobs”- Do you have the passion for writing? If so, then there are plenty of opportunities to get your hustle on online. Regardless of what you like to write about, there is a high demand for writers on the web. Sites like examiner.com and ehow.com allow individuals to make money online by writing about literally anything you want.

7. Become an online tutor- Do you have the passion to help others in a particular area of study? If so, then maybe you should apply to become an online tutor. Most tutors possess a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. If you are interested in working from home as a tutor, I would recommend tutorvista.com.
